The journey through the vast fields of the beautiful Alentejo region to the simple but improved Herdade Cucumbi is the perfect aperitif for what will be a refined and unforgettable experience in our company.

Cucumbi is located in the village of Barrancão, in the municipality of Alcácer do Sal, and its history takes us back to the last century when, during the Agrarian Reform, the lands were distributed and occupied by the resident population. At that time, the estate was an Agricultural Production Unit where the local population worked, managed, and distributed the goods they produced, making it a place of high historical and sentimental value for the locals.

Food & Beverage Cross Training

Our interns will be the face of Cucumbi and will carry out the daily operations in several areas of the hotel, mostly focusing of F&B.

Tasks include:

Greeting guests upon arrival
Tour guests around property (introducing establishment norms and schedules)
Mise-en-place & service of meals (buffet & à la carte) during breakfast, lunch, dinner and events.
Assist in product control and organization in back of the house area
Ensure the cleanliness and standards of decoration in the work space
Apply up-selling techniques
Effectively handle customer concerns
