Legal Intern
Internship (6 months) - full time - Paris 9 - starting at 1300€ per month
Kindly specify your availability; we are prioritizing internships starting in Q1 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the drafting and negotiation of a variety of commercial agreements for Kiln’s products and services.
- Collaborate with Kiln’s Product, Sales, and Finance teams, gaining exposure to cross-functional legal work.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of contract templates, playbooks, and terms of service in line with Kiln’s product evolution.
- Help implement legal processes and procedures that improve the efficiency of the legal function.
- Support in the development of scalable legal frameworks and assist in enhancing contracting processes.
- Stay updated on developments in blockchain and digital currencies, contributing to research on regulatory matters.
Requirements:
Pursuing or completing a Master's degree in Law.
- Basic understanding of the financial services and digital assets industry - proven interest in crypto/blockchain is a plus!
- Strong research and analytical skills, particularly in areas of emerging technologies.
- Fluent in English and French (Being an English native speaker is a big plus).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid work setting.
Nice-to-haves:
- Prior internship or work experience in law firms, financial services, or tech companies is a plus.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks applicable to digital assets.
